Larger MailboxAlong with our new mail system your mail quota will be increased from the current 50 megabyte to 1.000 megabyte. Of course we still encourage you to frequently clean up your mailbox but from now on storage shouldn't be the main reason. |

New WebMailOur old webmail has been replaced with a state-of-the-art system. The address for the new webmail will remain the same as the old, webmail.itu.dk but now you'll be logged in to the new system called RoundCube that offers new cool design and lots of new features. |

Improved Anti-SpamWe've taken several steps to decrease the amount of spam and the most significant improvement is our new Barracuda SpamFirewall. The Barracuda is a server dedicated only to defeat virus and spam in our inbound mails. It is being maintained and kept up-to-date by Barracuda Networks who is one of the leading experts on the market. |

New SelfserviceJust like the webmail we've also improved our Selfservice page. You'll notice a new cool design and along with the old features like "vacation" and "forward mail" you'll now also be able to create filters that sort your mail into subfolders based on the criteria you define. The new Selfservice will be available here: https://webmail.itu.dk/selfservice/ |

More SecureBeing secure on ITU networks is very important to us and we always do our best to improve our systems to be as secure as possible. Therefor we will close all insecure connections to our mail systems on 1. September. You will receive more information about this when we get closer to this change. |

Problems? Our new mail system is now located on the inside of our network for higher security and because of that you might have to make a few small changes in your mail client to access your mailbox. Ingoing mail server: imaps.itu.dk Outgoing mail server: smtpauth.itu.dk Make sure you check "Use secure connection" over SSL or TLS for both of these servers |
